كيف نحمي نظمك أثناء النقل
The two biggest risks in an IT infrastructure relocation are physical damage and wrong reconnection. We control both — and every control is a pair: something recorded before anything is unplugged, and the guarantee it buys you at the other end.
Before anything is unplugged, our team photographs every rack from the front and the back. Each cable is labelled at both ends with a code that matches a port map, so a cable that came out of port 12 on switch B goes back into port 12 on switch B.
During packing, cables are bundled and bagged per device, so nothing gets mixed up between machines. Hard drives in servers are not removed unless your IT team asks for it. Every packed item gets an inventory number that is checked at loading and again at unloading.
At the new office, racks are placed according to your new server room layout, equipment is re-mounted, and power and patch cables are reconnected to the labels. Your IT team then powers up the systems and runs its checks. If you want the full technical sequence, we have written up a complete decommission, transport and reinstall walkthrough separately.

Who Does What: Your IT Team and Our Crew
A clear split of tasks prevents delays on moving day. This is how we normally divide the work, and it is agreed in writing before anyone touches a cable.

Read each column top to bottom, not across. These are two responsibility lists running in parallel, not paired steps — our reconnection work, for instance, finishes before your power-up begins.
If you do not have an in-house IT team, we will work directly alongside your IT vendor and agree the same split with them. Some hardware manufacturers require their own engineer to de-install or reinstall specific equipment — we work around them rather than against them.
Is Your New Server Room Ready?
Many IT moves are delayed by problems at the new office, not the old one. Confirm these six points with your landlord or fit-out contractor before moving day — during our survey we check the access points ourselves and tell you if a rack has to be emptied before it will fit through a door or into a lift.

Eight stages, in order. The two that matter most to you are the first and the last: the survey, where the plan is built, and the handover, where we stay on site until your team says the systems are up.
Site Survey & Inventory
We visit your office, count and list all IT equipment, and check access at both buildings ourselves.
Move Plan
We agree the shutdown window with your IT lead and confirm the order in which systems come back online.
Labelling & Photos
Done a day or two before the move, while your systems are still running and still reachable.
Shutdown & De-installation
Your team shuts down the systems, then our crew disconnects the power and patch cables and removes the equipment.
Packing & Transport
Equipment is packed by type, loaded in inventory order and moved in closed trucks.
Installation & Reconnection
Racks are placed to your new layout, equipment is re-mounted, and cables are reconnected to the port map.
Power-Up & Handover
Your IT team runs its checks. We stay on site until they confirm everything works.
Clean-Up
We remove the foam, cartons and packing waste from the new office rather than leaving it stacked in your corridor.
Moving Without Stopping Your Business
Downtime is the only part of an IT move your customers ever notice. These are the three ways we keep it off your Monday.
Your team has to be working on Monday
Most of our IT moves start on Friday evening after work and finish by Sunday, so your team starts Monday at the new office with the systems already running. The shutdown window is agreed with your IT lead before the date is confirmed.
The office is too big for one weekend
We move in phases: workstations first, then the server room over a separate weekend. Your main systems are offline for as short a time as possible, and nobody spends a week working off a laptop on a packing crate.
Your service runs 24/7 and can never be fully down
We plan the move around your own failover or cloud backup and move the physical servers only after your traffic has been switched over. The cutover is yours to run — we work to whatever window it leaves us, including overnight. If the new server room is not ready when your lease ends, temporary storage bridges the gap rather than your equipment sitting in a corridor.
What Affects the Cost of an IT Relocation
We give a fixed quote after the site survey, and it does not move afterwards. Six things set the number.
Number of Racks
And whether each one moves loaded or empty — which is decided at the survey, not guessed at on the day.
Workstations & Monitors
How many desks are coming with you, and how many screens are on each of them.
Distance Between Offices
The run between the two addresses, which sets truck time and the number of trips.
Access at Both Buildings
Lift size, loading bay and stairs. Access is usually the single biggest swing on an IT move.
One Weekend or Phased
A single-weekend move and a phased move over several weekends are priced differently.
Extra Services

Can you move server racks with the servers still inside?
Sometimes. It depends on the rack type, the weight and the manufacturer’s guidance. Heavy or tall racks are usually emptied first, because moving them loaded risks damage to the rails and to the servers. We decide this during the site survey.
Do you back up our data before the move?
No. Backups are done by your IT team or IT vendor before shutdown. We never access your data. Our work covers the physical removal, transport and reinstallation of the equipment.
How long will our systems be offline?
For most small and mid-size offices, systems go down on Friday evening and are back online during the weekend. The exact time depends on how many racks you have and how far apart the two offices are. We give you a planned timeline after the survey.
Will moving our servers affect the warranty?
It can, with some manufacturers. Check your warranty terms or contact your hardware vendor before the move. Some vendors want their own engineer to de-install or reinstall certain equipment, and we can work alongside them.
Can you move our data center or a large server room?
Yes. Larger data center relocations are planned in phases, often over several weekends, with a detailed plan agreed with your IT team for each stage.
Do you also move the rest of the office?
