Every screen, PC, keyboard and cable is labelled with its seat number and its position: seat 14, screen 3. Cables are bagged by seat, never thrown into one box and sorted out later.

At the new office, desks are assembled, monitor arms fitted and screens mounted in the same layout. Cables are reconnected according to the labels, not according to guesswork.

Client files cannot simply go in a box
Client files, KYC documents and account records go into lockable crates with numbered seals. Each crate is listed on an inventory with its contents and seal number, and signed for at loading and again at unloading by your nominated person. A safe is heavier than the floor it is standing on
Safes and strong boxes are moved with equipment suited to their weight. During the survey we check floor loading and lift limits at both buildings, so there are no surprises on the day — the worst possible moment to discover a service lift is under-rated is with a safe already on it.
Cash handling equipment is moved empty, and the handover is witnessed by your own staff. Cash counting machines and cheque scanners travel like any other hardware once they are empty — and emptying them is a job for the people whose names are on the reconciliation, not for a moving crew.

The paperwork is the part that stops moves, not the lifting. A crew turned back at a loading bay on Friday night costs you the whole weekend, and the weekend is all there is. We submit the passes and the insurance certificate to building management at both addresses before the date is confirmed.
Timing the Move Around Market Hours
Every other office move is scheduled around a lease date. This one is scheduled around a closing bell, and the bell does not negotiate.
The Window Is Genuinely Tight
UAE markets close on Friday afternoon, and most global markets close by Friday night UAE time and reopen late Sunday or early Monday. That is the whole window, and it does not move for anybody.
Physical Work Done by Sunday Morning
We plan so the physical work finishes Saturday night or Sunday morning, which leaves the whole of Sunday for your IT team and your vendors to test. Testing time is not the buffer — it is the point.
Larger Firms Move in Stages
Back office, operations and support teams move first, over one weekend. The dealing room moves last, on its own weekend, with the full crew focused on nothing else.
What Affects the Cost
We give a fixed quote after the site survey, and it does not move afterwards. Six things set the number.

Can you finish the move over one weekend?
Yes, for most small and mid-size firms. We start on Friday evening after trading ends and aim to complete the physical setup by Sunday morning, leaving time for your IT team to test before markets open.
Do you set up our trading systems?
No. We handle the physical side: disconnecting, packing, moving, mounting screens and reconnecting cables to the labels. Your IT team and vendors configure and test the systems.
Can our market data and voice trading vendors work alongside your crew?
Yes. We build their engineers into the move timeline so they have access to the right desks at the right time.
How are client files protected during the move?
They are packed into lockable crates with numbered seals, listed on a signed inventory, and checked against the list by your nominated person at the new office.
Do we need to tell our regulator about the move?
In most cases, yes. Regulators such as the DFSA and the SCA expect to be told about a change of address. Check the exact requirement and timing with your compliance team.
Can you move a bank office as well as a trading firm?
Yes. We move bank offices, including executive floors, operations teams and secure records. Bank branches with vaults or cash handling areas need a separate plan, which we prepare after a survey.
