Working Inside a Live Warehouse
Many logistics offices sit on a mezzanine or at the end of a warehouse floor, with forklifts working a few metres away.
An industrial office relocation runs on different rules from a move in an office tower. The building does not stop for you. Inbound containers keep arriving, the docks stay booked, and a crew that wanders into a racking aisle is a safety incident rather than an inconvenience.
So we work to your site’s rules, not ours: induction before the first box is lifted, dock time agreed with your warehouse supervisor, marked walkways only, and a truck sized to the gate rather than to the job.

Our crew arrives in hi-vis vests and safety shoes and completes your site induction before any work starts. They stay on marked walkways and out of racking aisles for the whole job.

Mezzanine Offices and Stairs
Mezzanine offices are often reached by stairs only. We check stair width and turns at the survey and decide what has to be dismantled. Where your site rules allow it, heavy items can go up or down in a forklift cage driven by your own certified operator.
The Truck Matched to the Site
Our fleet runs 3-tonne, 5-tonne and 10-tonne trucks, so a tight yard or a low gate does not hold up the move. Every truck is GPS-tracked.
Free Zone Gates and Customs Paperwork
A large share of Dubai’s logistics sector works out of free zones such as JAFZA, Dubai South and DAFZA. Free zone moves bring two extra layers of paperwork.
A crew held at the gate costs you the window
Crew members and trucks usually need gate passes arranged in advance through your PRO or admin team. We send the crew list, ID copies and truck plate numbers a few days early, so nobody is standing at the barrier on move day while a dock slot runs out.
Free zone assets may owe duty when they leave
Furniture and equipment brought into a free zone may have entered without customs duty, so moving it to the mainland can need a declaration and duty may apply. Your customs team files that, not us. We give them a clean asset list with item descriptions, quantities and packing details, and we time the move to their clearance.
After the Move: What to Update
Changing zones also affects your licence, and a few records outlive the move if nobody chases them. These four are yours, and they are the ones most often missed.

Your Licence Address
With the free zone authority or with Dubai Economy and Tourism. A free zone licence covers that zone only, so moving to the mainland usually means a new licence or a branch registration, which your PRO arranges.

Company details held with Dubai Customs need updating to the new address.

Shipping Lines, Airlines & Carriers
Everyone who sends you delivery orders and invoices needs the new address, or your paperwork keeps arriving at a unit you have left.

Your Insurance Policies
Cover is often tied to the premises address, so a policy that still names the old unit may not respond at the new one.
How the Move Is Planned
Four phases, built backwards from the shift change your operations team picks.
Two to Three Weeks Before
We survey both addresses, checking docks, gates, stairs, lifts and yard access, and agree the move order with your operations manager. If you are leaving a free zone, we share the asset list with your customs team.
The Week Before
Crates arrive, and archives and closed files are packed and sealed. Gate passes and building permits are submitted. Your IT team confirms internet and phone lines are active at the new site.
Move Days
The back office moves first. Operations desks are set up and tested at the new site, and the ops team switches over at the agreed shift change.
After the Switch
The remaining desks, lockers and canteen furniture move. Scanner and crate counts are checked and signed. The old office is cleared and ready to hand back to the landlord.
What Shapes the Quote
We send a fixed written quote within 24 hours of the site survey. Six things set the number — three about what you have, three about where it is.
Workstations & Operations Desks
How many desks there are, and how many of them are multi-screen operations positions rather than ordinary admin desks.
Volume of Archives
Customs files, PODs, driver files and contract archives, counted in crates at the survey rather than estimated over the phone.
One Go, or Phased Across Shifts
A single move and a phased move across several shift changes are priced differently, because a phased move is several mobilisations rather than one.
Stairs-Only Mezzanines
A mezzanine office reached by stairs alone needs more crew and more hours than the same office beside a goods lift.
Limited Dock Time
A dock you can only hold for two hours changes the crew size and the truck schedule, because the work has to fit the window rather than the other way round.
Free Zone Gate Rules
Gate passes, truck plate registration and escorted access all add lead time, and in some zones they cap how many vehicles can be on site at once.
Two things are quoted as separate lines, not folded into the above: التخزين for archives, and moves between emirates. They are priced on their own so you can see exactly what each one costs and drop either without re-quoting the whole job.

Can your crew work inside our warehouse while it is operating?
Yes. Our crew wears PPE, completes your site induction and stays on marked walkways. We agree dock use with your warehouse supervisor so inbound and outbound trucks can keep moving.
Do you handle customs declarations for assets leaving a free zone?
No. Your customs team or broker files the declaration. We supply the asset list with descriptions, quantities and packing details, and we time the move around their clearance.
How do you move handheld scanners and label printers?
Scanners are counted into padded crates with their chargers and batteries. Printers travel with their label rolls and ribbons removed. We check both counts at the new site before you sign.
Can you store our archives if the new office has less space?
