Logistics & Industrial Office Relocation

Logistics Company Office Move in Dubai

As office movers in Dubai, we plan every logistics company relocation around one rule: that your operation keeps running while your office changes address.

We move freight forwarders, 3PL providers, warehousing companies, customs brokers, transport operators and the admin offices of factories and workshops. That includes head offices in business towers and site offices at the back of a warehouse floor.

Keeping Dispatch Running While the Office Moves

The order of the move matters more than its speed. During the survey we sit down with your operations manager and note your shift times, your daily cut-offs with carriers and customs, and the hours when the fewest jobs go out — then build the move around that quiet window instead of starting on a Friday evening by default.

    A Standard Move Order

    OrderWhat MovesWhen
1Archives, closed shipment files, spare furniture and meeting roomsWeekdays before the move
2Finance, HR, sales and admin teamsThe evening before the switch
3A small set of operations desks, set up and tested at the new siteBefore the switch
4Dispatch, control room and customer serviceAt the quietest shift change
5Remaining ops desks, lockers and canteen furnitureAfter the switch

Step three is what makes this work. A few operations desks go live at the new office first, with screens, phones and internet tested by your IT team. When the shift changes, the incoming team starts work at the new address while our crew packs the old desks — so customer calls and driver radios stay covered the whole time.

Two things to arrange on your side. Ask your telecom provider to move or forward your main numbers on the switch day. And tell your drivers and subcontracted hauliers the new address in advance, so paperwork and returned goods come to the right place rather than to an empty unit.

What We Move for Logistics and Industrial Offices

For a 3PL office relocation in Dubai, the list usually covers three areas of the business.

    Operations & Control Rooms

    4 Item Types
    • Dispatch desks with multi-screen setups
    • Fleet tracking screens & wall displays
    • Radio base stations & desk phones
    • The server or network cabinet running your WMS or TMS

    Warehouse Floor & Site Offices

    6 Item Types
    • Handheld RF scanners & charging racks
    • Barcode & label printers
    • Bench scales & parcel weighing stations
    • Biometric attendance machines
    • Staff lockers, canteen tables & PPE shelving
    • Portable site cabins & container office contents

    Records & Archives

    4 Item Types
    • Customs declarations, bills of lading & PODs
    • Driver files & vehicle documents
    • Contract & tender files
    • Engineering drawings & plan chests

Handheld scanners go missing easily in a move. We count them into padded crates with their chargers and spare batteries, and we check the count again at the new site before your team signs for them. The server or network cabinet running your WMS or TMS is a separate process with its own labelling and port map — see our server room relocation.

    Working Inside a Live Warehouse

Many logistics offices sit on a mezzanine or at the end of a warehouse floor, with forklifts working a few metres away.

Moving crew in hi-vis vests and safety shoes working on a live Dubai warehouse floor

An industrial office relocation runs on different rules from a move in an office tower. The building does not stop for you. Inbound containers keep arriving, the docks stay booked, and a crew that wanders into a racking aisle is a safety incident rather than an inconvenience.

So we work to your site’s rules, not ours: induction before the first box is lifted, dock time agreed with your warehouse supervisor, marked walkways only, and a truck sized to the gate rather than to the job.

    01

    PPE and Your Site Induction

Our crew arrives in hi-vis vests and safety shoes and completes your site induction before any work starts. They stay on marked walkways and out of racking aisles for the whole job.

    02

    Dock Time Agreed in Advance

We agree with your warehouse supervisor which dock we can use and for how long, so our trucks never block an inbound container or hold up a loading slot.

    03

    Mezzanine Offices and Stairs

Mezzanine offices are often reached by stairs only. We check stair width and turns at the survey and decide what has to be dismantled. Where your site rules allow it, heavy items can go up or down in a forklift cage driven by your own certified operator.

    04

The Truck Matched to the Site

Our fleet runs 3-tonne, 5-tonne and 10-tonne trucks, so a tight yard or a low gate does not hold up the move. Every truck is GPS-tracked.

Free Zone Gates and Customs Paperwork

A large share of Dubai’s logistics sector works out of free zones such as JAFZA, Dubai South and DAFZA. Free zone moves bring two extra layers of paperwork.

    The Problem

A crew held at the gate costs you the window

Crew members and trucks usually need gate passes arranged in advance through your PRO or admin team. We send the crew list, ID copies and truck plate numbers a few days early, so nobody is standing at the barrier on move day while a dock slot runs out.

    The Problem

Free zone assets may owe duty when they leave

Furniture and equipment brought into a free zone may have entered without customs duty, so moving it to the mainland can need a declaration and duty may apply. Your customs team files that, not us. We give them a clean asset list with item descriptions, quantities and packing details, and we time the move to their clearance.

After the Move: What to Update

Changing zones also affects your licence, and a few records outlive the move if nobody chases them. These four are yours, and they are the ones most often missed.

    • Your Licence Address

With the free zone authority or with Dubai Economy and Tourism. A free zone licence covers that zone only, so moving to the mainland usually means a new licence or a branch registration, which your PRO arranges.

    • Your Dubai Customs Details

Company details held with Dubai Customs need updating to the new address.

    • Shipping Lines, Airlines & Carriers

Everyone who sends you delivery orders and invoices needs the new address, or your paperwork keeps arriving at a unit you have left.

    • Your Insurance Policies

Cover is often tied to the premises address, so a policy that still names the old unit may not respond at the new one.

    How the Move Is Planned

Four phases, built backwards from the shift change your operations team picks.

    01

    Two to Three Weeks Before

We survey both addresses, checking docks, gates, stairs, lifts and yard access, and agree the move order with your operations manager. If you are leaving a free zone, we share the asset list with your customs team.

    02

    The Week Before

Crates arrive, and archives and closed files are packed and sealed. Gate passes and building permits are submitted. Your IT team confirms internet and phone lines are active at the new site.

    03

    Move Days

The back office moves first. Operations desks are set up and tested at the new site, and the ops team switches over at the agreed shift change.

    04

    After the Switch

The remaining desks, lockers and canteen furniture move. Scanner and crate counts are checked and signed. The old office is cleared and ready to hand back to the landlord.

    What Shapes the Quote

We send a fixed written quote within 24 hours of the site survey. Six things set the number — three about what you have, three about where it is.

    01

    Workstations & Operations Desks

How many desks there are, and how many of them are multi-screen operations positions rather than ordinary admin desks.

    02

    Volume of Archives

Customs files, PODs, driver files and contract archives, counted in crates at the survey rather than estimated over the phone.

    03

One Go, or Phased Across Shifts

A single move and a phased move across several shift changes are priced differently, because a phased move is several mobilisations rather than one.

    04

    Stairs-Only Mezzanines

A mezzanine office reached by stairs alone needs more crew and more hours than the same office beside a goods lift.

    05

    Limited Dock Time

A dock you can only hold for two hours changes the crew size and the truck schedule, because the work has to fit the window rather than the other way round.

    06

    Free Zone Gate Rules

Gate passes, truck plate registration and escorted access all add lead time, and in some zones they cap how many vehicles can be on site at once.

Two things are quoted as separate lines, not folded into the above: storage for archives, and moves between emirates. They are priced on their own so you can see exactly what each one costs and drop either without re-quoting the whole job.

Industrial and Logistics Areas We Cover

A warehousing company office move in Dubai often goes from one industrial area to another, so most of these runs are ones our crews already know.

Dubai Industrial & Free Zone Areas

    8 Areas
    • Jebel Ali
    • Dubai South
    • Dubai Investments Park
    • Al Quoz Industrial Area
    • Ras Al Khor
    • Al Qusais Industrial Area
    • Umm Ramool
    • Dubai Airport Free Zone

    Beyond Dubai

    3 Emirates

Moving between emirates is quoted as its own line, so you can see what the distance costs rather than having it absorbed into the headline figure.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can you move our office without stopping dispatch?

Yes. We set up a few operations desks at the new site first, then switch your ops team over at a quiet shift change. Customer calls and driver radios stay covered throughout.

Can your crew work inside our warehouse while it is operating?

Yes. Our crew wears PPE, completes your site induction and stays on marked walkways. We agree dock use with your warehouse supervisor so inbound and outbound trucks can keep moving.

Do you handle customs declarations for assets leaving a free zone?

No. Your customs team or broker files the declaration. We supply the asset list with descriptions, quantities and packing details, and we time the move around their clearance.

How do you move handheld scanners and label printers?

Scanners are counted into padded crates with their chargers and batteries. Printers travel with their label rolls and ribbons removed. We check both counts at the new site before you sign.

Can you store our archives if the new office has less space?

Yes. Sealed crates can go into our Al Quoz warehouse. We keep the inventory, so you can request a specific crate whenever you need it. See our storage service.

Do you move logistics offices outside Dubai?

Yes. We move offices between Dubai and the other emirates, including industrial areas in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
