Government & Public Sector Relocation
Government Office Movers in Dubai
We are government office movers in Dubai for departments, authorities, semi-government companies and public service centres. We move general offices, records rooms, customer service halls and executive floors — from the site survey to the final handover, under your entity’s security, procurement and asset rules.
In a government move, the biggest risk is losing control, not damaging furniture. Records must stay in a known place, every tagged asset must reach its new room, and public services cannot stop. As office movers in Dubai, we plan each move with your facilities, security, IT and asset teams, and document every step — so your records match what happened on the ground.

Planned with your facilities, security, IT and asset teams
Tell us how many floors and departments are moving, roughly how many records you hold, and your target date. We arrange a site survey with your facilities and security teams and send a fixed quote with a method statement.
What We Move
General offices, records rooms, customer service halls and executive floors — each with its own handling, its own order in the move, and its own sign-off.
Registry Files, Records Rooms & Archives
Packed by shelf, cabinet or file range as your records officer instructs, into sealed numbered crates. Section 6 is entirely about how these are handled.
Mobile Shelving & Compactor Units
Dismantled and rebuilt. Compactor units are the single heaviest and most awkward thing in most government buildings, so they are surveyed against floor loading and lift limits before a date is agreed.
Safes & Secure Cabinets
Moved with equipment rated for their weight, with floor and lift limits checked at both buildings during the survey. Contents stay with your team — safes move empty.
Service Counters, Kiosks & Queue Screens
Customer service counters, queue kiosks and ticket display screens. These leave the old site last and are set up first at the new one — section 9 sets out the order.
Executive Offices & Majlis Furniture
Including large meeting tables and sofa sets. Majlis seating is dismantled only where the doors demand it, and reassembled in the layout your protocol team specifies.
Portraits, Flags, Emblems & Certificates
Official portraits, national flags, emblems and framed certificates. See the note below this list — these are handled differently from everything else on this page.
Display Cabinets, Awards & Trophies
Cabinets are emptied first and the contents packed individually. Trophies and awards travel wrapped and separated, not loose in a shared carton.
Conference Rooms & VC Screens
Conference room furniture and video-conferencing screens. Screens travel in padded cartons and are remounted where your IT team needs them.
Workstations, Chairs & Pedestals
The bulk of the move by item count, and the part that carries most of your asset tags. Every tagged item is logged — see section 7.
Computers, Printers, Scanners & Network Cabinets
Moved after your IT team disconnects them. A comms room or rack is a separate process with its own labelling and port map — see our network cabinet and server room relocation.
Portraits and framed emblems are wrapped one by one, packed in picture boxes and carried by hand — never stacked. Your protocol or admin team marks the position of each one in the new building, and we hang them there. It is the one category on this page where the placement is not ours to decide at all.
Security Clearance and Crew Vetting
Everything on this page depends on one thing: that the people walking through your building are known, named and accounted for.

Our crew are our own employees, not day labour or subcontractors. They are in uniform, they wear ID badges, and the same named crew works the whole job from the first weekend to the final handover — which is what makes a single vetted list possible instead of a new submission before every phase.
Tell us at the survey how long your vetting takes and we will send names early enough to clear it. We plan crew numbers around the escorts you can actually provide, and we can sign your confidentiality undertaking before the survey rather than after it.
Submitted Before Move Day
Your security department receives the crew list with Emirates ID and passport copies, truck plate numbers and driver details, and the move dates and working hours for each building.
Your Vetting Lead Time Sets Ours
Tell us at the survey how long your vetting takes, and we send names early enough to clear it. The same named crew works the whole job, so passes are issued once rather than re-issued every weekend.
Our Own Employees, Not Day Labour
The crew are directly employed, in uniform and wearing ID badges. They are not subcontractors and not day labour hired for the weekend, which is what makes a single vetted crew list possible at all.
Escorted Areas and Confidentiality
The crew work only in the areas your escort allows, and we plan crew numbers around the escorts you can actually provide. We can sign your confidentiality undertaking before the survey, not after.
Records, Files and Restricted Documents
Classification and retention rules stay with your records team. We move the files without breaking their order or their chain of custody.
-
CLOSED
Packed by Shelf, Never Opened
Files are packed by shelf, cabinet or file range, exactly as your records officer instructs. The crew never opens a folder. Classification and retention rules stay with your records team — we move the files without breaking their order.
-
SEALED
A Numbered Seal on Every Crate
Each crate gets a numbered tamper-evident seal and is logged with its crate number, its seal number and the file range it holds.
-
LOCKED
Restricted Files Travel Locked
Restricted files travel in a locked truck or a locked section, straight to the new building with no stops on the way.
-
SIGNED
Signed at Loading, Checked at Unloading
Your records officer signs at loading and checks the seals at unloading, before any crate is opened. Nothing is unsealed outside their presence.
Files staff need for daily transactions are packed last and unpacked first, so the counter is never waiting on a crate. Files past their retention period should be destroyed through your approved process before the move — it is cheaper and simpler than transporting paper you are about to dispose of.
Asset Tags and Your Fixed Asset Register
An asset that cannot be found after a move is a finding at audit, not an inconvenience. The register has to reconcile.
The register has to match the building afterwards
For each tagged item we record the asset number, the old room and the new room. Items get a destination label with a room code matching your new floor plan. You receive the completed inventory as a spreadsheet, so your asset team updates the register in one step rather than reconciling it by hand.
Surplus assets still belong on the register
Items you are not taking are listed by tag number and stored or delivered wherever your asset team directs — our Al Quoz warehouse if you need them held pending approval. We never dispose of a tagged asset without written instruction.
Procurement and Tender Documents
What procurement committees usually ask for, supplied at tender stage rather than chased during evaluation.
-
Trade Licence & VAT Certificate
Current trade licence and VAT registration certificate, supplied at tender stage rather than chased during evaluation.
-
Certificate of Insurance
Issued in the form your procurement committee or landlord asks for, naming the scope of the move.
-
Method Statement, HSE Plan & Risk Assessment
A written method statement, a health and safety plan and a risk assessment for the specific buildings, not a generic template.
-
Crew List & Vehicle List
The same lists that go to your security department, so procurement and security are working from one set of names and plates.
-
Itemised Fixed-Price Quote
Split by building, floor or phase to match your purchase order, so the figures reconcile without anyone re-cutting them by hand.
If we need to register on your supplier portal first, tell us at the survey stage so it does not delay the move date. Portal registration is the single most common reason an otherwise agreed move slips by a fortnight.
Keeping Public Services Open
Service counters must open on the day you announce. That one constraint sets the order of everything else.
Public-Facing Areas Leave Last and Are Set Up First
| Order | What Moves | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Archives and storerooms | During the week before the move |
| 2 | Back-office departments | On the first weekend |
| 3 | Executive offices and meeting rooms | On the agreed weekend |
| 4 | Service counters, kiosks and queue screens | After the last service day at the old site |
We place the counters and kiosks to your layout. Your IT team and your queue-system vendor reconnect and test them before opening — so the first member of the public through the door meets a working counter, not a trial run.
Announce the new address on your website, app and SMS channels a few weeks ahead. A service centre that moves successfully and tells nobody still has a queue at the old building on Monday morning.
Our Process
Eight stages. Four of them exist so that your records, your register and your security file all reconcile afterwards.
Site Survey
We walk both buildings with your facilities, security, IT and records teams together, not separately.
Method Statement & Quote
You receive both in writing, with the quote itemised to match your purchase order.
Security Submissions
Crew IDs and vehicle details go to security at both buildings, early enough for your vetting window.
Asset & Records Plan
We agree the tag list, the room codes, the crate plan and the seal plan before anything is packed.
Early Packing
Archives and storerooms are packed and sealed during the week, while the building keeps working.
Move Weekends
Departments move in the agreed order, with your escort present wherever your security rules require it.
Signed Handover
Your nominated officer checks the seals, the asset tags and the inventory before anything is signed off.
Old Building Cleared
The space is emptied for handover, and surplus items go where your asset team directs — never anywhere else.
What Affects the Cost
We send a fixed written quote within 24 hours of the site survey, itemised to match your purchase order. Seven things set the number.
Workstations, Rooms & Floors
The headline scope: how many desks, how many rooms and how many floors are in the move.
Volume of Records
How many crates of registry files and archives — and whether mobile shelving or compactor units need dismantling and rebuilding.
Security Requirements
Escorted work, restricted areas, or a separate truck for restricted files. Security conditions change crew size and hours more than distance does.
Phases & Weekends
How many separate phases and weekends the move runs across. Each one is its own mobilisation.
After-Hours Building Rules
Access windows, lift bookings and out-of-hours restrictions at both addresses, which set when work can physically happen.
Scope of Asset Tracking
How much inventory reporting you need — a tag-by-tag spreadsheet for the full estate is more work than a departmental count.
Storage at Our Al Quoz Warehouse
Archives or surplus furniture held at our Al Quoz warehouse, listed by asset tag, pending your disposal approval.
Need the quote split by building or phase?
Tell us how your purchase order is structured and we will itemise the quote to match it, so procurement does not have to re-cut the figures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can your crew get security clearance for our building?
Yes. We send your security team the crew list with Emirates ID and passport copies plus vehicle details. The same crew works the whole job, so passes are issued once.
Can you provide the documents our tender requires?
Yes. We supply our trade licence, VAT certificate, insurance certificate, method statement, risk assessment and an itemised quote. Tell us early if you need supplier portal registration.
How do you track our asset tags?
Every tagged item is logged with its asset number, old room and new room. You get the completed inventory as a spreadsheet for your register.
Can you move restricted or classified files?
Yes. Files travel in sealed crates in a locked truck with no stops and are opened only after your records officer checks the seals. Your entity sets the handling rules for each classification, and our crew follows them.
Do we have to close our service centre?
Usually not on working days. Service areas move after the last service day, over the weekend, and are set up first at the new building so your IT team can test them before opening.
Can you store surplus furniture until disposal is approved?
Yes. It goes into our Al Quoz warehouse, listed by asset tag, and is delivered where your asset team directs once approved.
